Original review posted by user Aug 12, 2019 Purchased a Sealy King Hybrid mattress (over $1,000 with taxes) on May 1, 2019. The very 1st night I didn't sleep well. Feet an ankles in the air (see photos). Thought maybe the mattress needed to contour to my body. So I tried sleeping on it for a couple of weeks. No improvement. As a matter of fact, I ached every day! Called Sealy around June 12, 2019 and was told to contact the store and if still a problem to call them back. Which I did before I called them. Spoke with Kevin (with their customer care team). Keep in mind each time I called Kevin would answer the phone at this point. And I was calling almost everyday, because I wasn't getting any rest. My sofa slept better than this mattress. Finally he asked me to file a claim with them. Claim filed on July 1, 2019. Still no results. I started calling back. Now I couldn't get a hold of Kevin. He was either on the phone, away from his desk, at lunch, his shift changed or he's not in. Each of these times I left messages for him to call me back. In the mean time, I've gone to the doctor, prescribed muscle relaxants and topical cream for those achy areas. I'm 66 years old. On a small social security and pension. And no one seem to care if I get a good night's sleep or not! I'm sure they're having a restful night! Til this day Kevin never called me back! I'm sure he's been dodging me! I didn't ask for any money (which I'm still paying through a finance company for the mattress). All I wanted was a good nights sleep! After crying to them an complaining, they sent someone out to check the mattress. Waited another 2 weeks for a response. Nothing! So I sent an attached email to the claim asking for an update. They responded asking me to give them a few days. Still no answer (I have all my emails, claim info and pictures). Finally attached another email to the claim stating I felt they were mistreating me, didn't care about my well being. And that I would be filing complaints even with the BBB and other social media. You think they till cared! No! They answered me back staying the claim was denied. It didn't meet their criteria for a claim alone with their interpretation....When they get through trying to explain to me their laws, I still have a product of theirs that is 3 months old and still having the same problem! With my feet hanging in the air! I have to sleep with a pillow under my feet! And still pay for a $1,000 mattress!!! THAT ISN'T RIGHT!!!! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!
