THEY canceled my vacation and I WAS PENALIZED

Original review updated by user Apr 16, 2021 We booked royal Bahamian paid in full and then a month before they cancelled it due to renovations- they couldn't offer anything comparable -either accommodations dates or direct flights weren't available--and because it had to be canceled i have to eat $400 airfare cancellation fee they wouldn't reimburse even though it had to be cancelled because they couldn't deliver what was promised and agreed and paid for....horrible customer service over 2hours on phone being passed around from reps to supervisors back to reps to be basically told sorry but tough on you. we've stayed with them 3 times prior and NEVER AGAIN WILL WE USE SANDALS!!!!! this was the second time we had problems there wont be a 3rd!!! User's recommendation: DONT BOTHER NOT AS CUSTOMER FREINDLY AS THEY MAKE OUT.
