Brewer Caldwell charge their tenants for every little thing. They tried charging me for the refrigerator man coming to fix the fridge. They claimed that it wasnt a real reason that they came. They tried charging me $85.00. Well my food was rotten so I guess they dont consider that a reason. I called the maintence man and complained now twice already they charged me $150.00 to be paid on next month's rent. The first time I mailed my money order on time and for some reason it didnt get to them on time. Now I called them and told them that I didnt get paid till the fourth of the month and the receptionist said oh that's okay just call in the office and we can take check by phone and you can pay your rent or you can do it on line. It will just be a $10.00 fee. Well I went on line to pay and there was a $150.00 fee added to my account well I called the office and the receptionist said well if its not paid by the fourth that its late and I told her well thats not what you told me on Tuesday and she said well its in your contract. Now I am stuck w/ paying $930.00 and my rent is usually $780.00. So I paid the $780.00+$10.00 processing fee to take by phone, paid it thru the office with thier accounts recievable was and they werent available to be paid till like 4:30 pm in the afternoon. They close at 5:00 pm and so if they were not available to take my payment I would of had more charges. Will be moving as soon as least is up...... I also paid almost $3,000.00 to move in this place which they are just ripping me off!
