The only claim I made had a bad ending

I paid my dues to Nicor Home Solutions (NHS) for a long time. The first and only claim I made was about a set of lights controlled by one switch did not work after 25 years of being OK. NHS contacted a third party, "Exotic Electric" which scheduled an appointment. That had to be rescheduled since the tech missed it. Eventually, he appeared, checked all switches and outlets(?) in the room without finding the cause of failure. THE ONLY CHANGE HE MADE WAS TO DAMAGE TWO PRESENCE SWITCHES AND LEFT!!! User's recommendation: Do not buy Nicor Home Solution subscriptions: they are contracting third party companies to do the job and get unqualified technicians to fiddle with the problem claimed.
