I’m diabetic. I cut my finger on a new mandolin. Blood started gushing out so I hit the Life Alert button in the kitchen area. Right away a lady came on and asked if I needed a squad. I said yes and started to panic. The lady contacted the squad. She stayed with me until they came. I was very scared because of all the bleeding. She got me to calm down. I was so grateful I could talk to someone because I live alone! That was the best [money] I have ever spent! After the squad came, she asked them if she needed to do more. They said no, well take it from here. Thank God I had Life Alert because I was so upset I probably couldn’t call 911! Thank you. - B.W.
