I've never heard of this company before, a AAA agent hooked me up with them. I signed up for a year, paid up front for the entire year since there was a little discount (Dec 2017 to Dec 2018). My term ended Dec 17, 2018. I called AAA before I left the country because I knew I needed to pay my insurance. i told them to deduct my bank account for the entire year. I went on my vacation and didn't get back until early January. I received several mails from Commerce insurance, one of them being they cancelled my insurance due to lack payment. I called AAA explaining about what happened. They told me Commerce wouldn't reinstate my insurance. I then found another insurance on my own, not through AAA. Early Feb Commerce billed me $10 for something I don't remember. I paid. Then late Feb they billed me again for $96. I called AAA and asked what that for. They told me that Commerce continued to cover me (supposedly) until Jan 3 when I called them and asked about why they cancelled my insurance. Basically, - there was no warning from Commerce before they cancelled their policy; - they sent bills in the mail but didn't follow up when they didn't get the payment; - AAA or them emailed me once about authorization to deduct my account. I didn't remember received the email, or I might accidentally delete it. Things happened! Yet they never gave any warning when the insurance was due. I'm a responsible person. I never missed bills. the fact that I paid the entire year the previous year didn't mean anything to them. Due your research before deciding on using Commerce!
