First I want to say heart goes out to those who felt the process was a waste of time or ultimately was denied. I applied 3x. The first time I went through the process of constantly sending the requested forms and when there was a month of silence and not getting a response, I called to get an update to discover although I was approved, my mortgage company turned down participation. I was livid! I was angry KYHC didn’t notify me and especially mad at my mortgage company. (My mortgage or whatever was sold to a different company within the same month, so maybe that had something to do with the outcome. I started the process over under my new mortgage company, but felt the KYHC rep was so rude and short that I ended ended the process by no longer complying with their request for documents. 3rd time, (I was desperate and persistent) I contacted them once more to initiate the process again. Well 3rd time was the charm, because I was approved and monies funded. :-)
