Subscription problem

I sent a check to Readers Digest for a 2 year subscription on Feb.2020 that was advertised.It was cashed and I started to receive the magazine which I enjoy.I never had any contact until today regarding the termination of my subscription because it expired. When I contacted the customer service department I was told that my subscription had been expired and it was pro rated and only giving me 10 months of the magazine. User's recommendation: be careful of false advertising and lack of contact from this magazine.
