Moved from Connecticut to Massachusetts using North American Van Lines. Their movers stole $500 worth of property and they gave us $18 for our claim because we didn't purchase more insurance. Didn't realize I needed insurance for theft- thought it was just for accidental loss or damage. What's more, they quoted us $200/day or $600/week for delay in delivery (which happens with less predictable mortgage closings nowadays), and once they had our things in their truck they told us we would need to pay an extra $4000 for a 3-day delay in delivery. Hire them at your own risk.
