Stock
Dear Currys PC world A few days ago I visited Currys PC world in Crawley W Sussex in order to purchase two 132Gb USB flash drives The USB section was very limited and no 132Gb's on display. I asked an assistant about this and he just shrugged his shoulders and did not seem particularly bothered. Thus I left empty handed. Today I looked on line and found that these drives were in stock and ready for purchase. To this end I re-visited the store and once again found no mention of the drive. However, knowing that you had them in stock I asked for assistance. The same assistant (as last time) decided this time to check the stock room, and subsequently produced the two drives of which I purchased. The number of people that look for items only to find they are not on display must lose PC World a lot of sales. That fact that these items were in stock but not on display can be excused IF a card on the display indicates an item/or out of stock - requesting the customer ask for assistance. But to find no reference to a stock item is not excusable. I find the whole experience rather annoying and time wasting as the item was probably in stock the first time round! THINGS DON'T SELL IF NOT DISPLAYED - I know from experience, as I was a sales consultant for some time a few years ago! Regards Clive A Weller
