Steam updates caused a total corruption of my windows operation files. These daily updates are so they can jam more popups on your computer when browsing, and on several occasions they have locked up the machine and I've had to forcibly end the session and completely restart the machine. This time however, the event caused a complete software failure and the machine required a total reloading of the the windows software. User's recommendation: Avoid if possible, though its rather difficult when they are monopolizing the entire gaming industry.
