e21property mgmt Chuck Sparks is manipulative & dishonest. He lied to us before we signed our lease , & after we met every criteria for cleaning a Townhouse he managed he refuses to refund our deposit. We spent over $700 on professional cleaning services; actually leaving the place in much better condition than when we moved in 2 years earlier. We personally cleaned under & behind all of the appliances, put in new filters, did touch up paint throughout the Townhouse & hung new window treatments. The carpet itself was worn & stained when we moved in,even by Chuck's own admission. We had it professionally cleaned even though it was regularly vacuumed & only endured routine wear & tear; simply walking thru the rooms. e1 reality/Chuck Sparks actually stated that we were going to have to pay for brand new wall to wall carpet throughout the home! We had never caused stains, rips, or holes anywhere in the Townhouse . He refuses to return our deposit, & is probably keeping it for his personal profit. In addition, on the last day of our rental, upon our return to retrieve final possessions, e1 staff had been instructed to place our items in a trash bag & in the trash container. That included several pair of shoes worth about $60.00 & coat hangers worth approximately $75.00. Word to the wise...do not rent a property from these people. They'll tell you one thing to get you into the property , & then rip you off in the end. I firmly believe that Chuck Sparks is as manipulative & dishonest as they come. And now they threaten to not publish our review unless we agree to THEIR terms of what they call their PISSED consumer terms of service! That should be ALL anyone needs to see to imagine what their experience will be with this company! Really?!?! They anticipate PISSED consumers?!?! People who treat others right & fairly don't need to have an agreement like that in first place! Nonetheless, I'll check the box that says that I agree with it, just to get this review published. I feel like it might help protect others from the nightmare we've experienced with e1 Realty. Truthfully though I have not been able to FIND the pissed consumer agreement they're referring to. I'm assuming that it's difficult to find the agreement by design; hoping I'll opt to not submit my review. I'm not computer savvy, & did look for the agreement attached to this site, but I did not see the agreement listed anywhere. No surprise to me . I hope I've at least done what I feel is right by trying to warn others!
