I just spent 1:45 mins on the phone, they wanted me to pay >$3,500 cancelation fee because I am canceled 5 weeks after my "Contract Renewed". I pointed out that they are not providing my any service. I no longer have a phone number with them, no access to an account. They can't charge me for services not rendered. It took a lot of work, but I got them to cancel immediately by not backing down. Any company that forces you to go to a Cancelation Department to cancel your plan means they will do everything they can to not let you cancel. User's recommendation: stand your ground when you cancel.
