I really feel sad posting this fact of Cape institute of technology losing the ethics every education house should work with. The colleges are now becoming more economic rather instead of giving proper education to students. One such bitter experience has leaded me to write this post. I am going to talk about an engineering college here, where the management itself is carrying out such immoral n unprofessional activities. The Cape institute of technology Engineering has recently started forcing the faculty members for getting new students for the next semester. Each of the faculty members is asked to get 3 or 4 students who would be provided with admission in the college n for this higher donation are collected from them. This means the college is now going to have students who have heavy pockets n, not eligibility. Pressure is being built on the faculties to get new students even after the classroom has required a number of students as per the regulations of the college. This has distracted the minds of the faculty members of Cape institute. The constant threat given to them of getting fired has disturbed their schedules. They are not able to concentrate on their topics n d students properly. As a faculty member of Cape Institute College, I can well understand the fear and the mental situation of other faculty members. However, this is not still the height of harassment we are going through. To add more to the situation, the management is also burdening us with other useless n foolish projects that don’t have any relevance to our subjects. Calling for boring n meaningless meetings where nothing but only time pass is carried out is holding us back from completing our syllabus on time. Unnecessary celebrations and other programs have also affected our working schedules which are damn irritating. Two of our faculty members who raised their voice against this illegal admission were firstly harassed in a various way, after which they have fired also. The management of Cape institute of Technology has continuously increasing the pressure of getting new students, without caring about their percentage, which has increased the chances of getting students who are not dedicated to studies, which are also called third category students. Because of the pressure on the faculties, around 5 students have appeared in the campus and have started ruining it by behaving in an odd manner. The campus is now experiencing issues like raging, profanity, harassment of girls and faculties, etc. as other college students are joining hands with the brutes. The college in this way is not only damaging its own name but also influencing other colleges to walk on the wrong path, playing with the futures of those students who deserve a better education. I am totally against this weird way the management is heading. There are various faculties in Cape institute who want to get the *** out of it but aren’t able to step ahead due to some responsibilities. I would like all those who understand this matter share this post as much as possible so legal actions can be taken against Cape institute to end all this.
