staff behaviour at mumbai airport

I and my 14 year son got boarding passes from Mumbai to Munich but was stopped by staff at gate saying that we cannot board the flight. We were suppose to transit from Munich to uk and we don't have transit visa of germany. but if that is the case why boarding passes were issued to us at Mumbai airport. We want compensation and full refund of our hard earned money asap...
