I called because I normally eat 3 to 4 cans of split pea with ham soup a week, but I opened a can and started eating, and it tasted strange and smells like a can of sardines. They are sending me a coupon for a free can, but when I told them I had 3 more cans from the same batch, they said to call back it there was a problem with them. I was not taking a chance, I threw them in the trash. I have not bought any new ones because I don't want to get sick if I get another bad one. User's recommendation: Smell before you eat.
