Social distancing and COVID safety
1
So disappointed to see many people in Bluewater today without any type of face covering. I suffer from asthma and struggle to cope with a mask and yet I still wear a face covering in consideration of other people. My 88 year old mother was with me today and needed to sit down. I took her to a near exit where she could sit down and rest. Twice she was approached and asked to move, she politely informed the security guard that she needed to wait for me to come back and get her (I had gone into a nearby store) but she was told that she needed to move anyway. It is sad that the same security guard clearly had no confidence to approach the hundreds of young men who we're not wearing any type of face protection and yet he had no hesitation when approaching my 88 year old Mother. I spoke to one shop assistant who asked me to make a complaint. He told me that people don't wear masks and the complaints to management go unanswered. These are trying times for all of us but rules should be in place for everyone and good sense and judgment should be used when necessary. Clearly Bluewater is falling short in the fight against COVID.
