SIM card issues puk

So I bought a phone off the streets and it had a Sprint SIM card for minutes only so I put $25 which is 443 minutes of talk and text I tried to make calls and texts and tempt and it did not go through when I check phone status is said in service but disconnected I didn't know what to go and where to push and I push the wrong button and I locked the SIM
