Signet Financial and dealership

I have been told to take the dealership to court the local lower small claims court regarding purchasing the vehicle and being asked about the extended warranty with Signet. It is the responsibility of the dealership to check companies out whom they are dealing with. The dealership did not make any effort whatsoever to notify me several years ago when this occurred. The dealership gave me a $300.00 amount to use on tires, parts, service at the dealership. That does not come close to the near $2500.00 I paid for the auto loan through the dealership. I contacted the attorney general in California who responded back with a letter stating to contact an attorney. I have news for Signet and the dealership.... I am not the type to sit back and be taken without someone being held accountable!
