Settlement offer denied

1

I purchased cany from Walmart on 3/28/17.. Got home put a piece in my mouth and started chewing and it tasted funny so I spit it out to realize it was molded. Looked at the bag that the candy was un..had expired 9/2016Got sick went to ER diagnosed with acute food sensitvity gatroenteritis. They denied my claim based on no medical proof and that no more candy was found at the store. This was a month later that the claim was denied. So I go back to Walmart to pick up a few items and return some ribbon. Upon checking out I decide to check the candy..found 5 more bags of expired candy a whole month later when they said no more was there. One of the bags had the same expiration date as the one I got sick from. So I let the adjuster know this. She reopened my claim because of this. She had the store security checking to see if anymore candy was there. They did find more and that there has been a stocking issue at the store. She told me she would be offering me a courtesy payment because of that. She had to leave due to emergency surgery and my claim was given to another adjuster. That I had to call to find out about. The new adjuster said that this was never reopened and then saidI wasn't told I would be getting a settlement offer! I have tons and tons of emails and records as to show how they lied to just give me the runaround yet again to simply deny the claim. This company is a scam and a Joke! I will be contacting local news and BBB
