Service in Poland is trying to invoice me for a damage that was not there when the device was send for repair

Dear Pissed Customer Team, My problem with OnePlus is far from sorted. Their service in Poland is claiming that the 8T model device I send for the replacement of the volume button (proving with photos taken before shipment) has also a deep dent on the frame and therefore the whole frame and screen have to be replaced and paid for. Although several photos and screenshots of correspondences by my father trying to find a local retailer able to replace the volume button (with no reference whatsoever about any other damage or fault) fell on deaf ears and they are insisting that there was a damage on the frame, regardless of all proof we send them. This damage they are referring to was most likely caused whilst the device was in their possession and they are trying to force us to pay for it and holding the device hostage and threatening to send it back damaged. I would not mind to get it back with the dented volume button as it was when was send to them but now getting it back with a deep dent on the frame too ????? Best Regards Kenan Erdogan User's recommendation: Do not but a OnePlus device online as there can be grace consequences when shipping your device for repairs. But from a local retailer if you must.
