Scammed, unsatisfied AND VERY ANGRY

I had a problem with my laptop and called Microsoft and was forwarded to a tech. The tech attempted several times with me entering several commands into my computer. Unable to resolve, I was forwarded to another person, who state that they (Consumersoft) was a partner of Microsoft and can arrange for a trained tech to come to my home and reinstall Windows 10. The person representing the "partner of Microsoft" stated that it would cost $149.99. At this point, I had no other choice but to agree to the cost. The tech came out and spent 7 hours on my computer. After he finished, I was instructed to use several websites as a test for a working computer. Everything seemed fine. The next day I attempted to access my computer and NOTHING worked! I called Microsoft, asked for a tech and explained the problem. Microsoft asked for the phone number I called, put me on hold for a couple of minutes and when he returned I was shocked! He also was referred to that company thru Microsoft and he couldn't believe it. He told me that that company (Consumersoft) is NOT in any way affiliated with Microsoft and the woman on the phone told him he didn't know anything. He said I was scammed and in a fraud form. Microsoft, he told me never sends techs to any business or home for repair. The Microsoft tech told me to contact my credit card company and report this. I did and am still waiting for resolve. I had to purchase a new laptop since I could not trust that there wasn't anything imbedded to *** me. DO NOT USE CONSUMERSOFT FOR ANYTHING.
