SCAM – Beware of STAFFLOCATER – a complete SCAM

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CON ARTISTS !!!! I am embarrassed to admit that I fell for the Stafflocater.ca (division of Clearview Management Limited) SCAM. I have previously reported and continue to copy Consumer and Corporate Affairs - but they too have done absolutely nothing. I am currently filing a suit with Small Claims in order to see if I can get any kind of retribution. Below is the reply that I received from Stafflocater concerning my cancellation refund. The letter following their reply was repeatedly sent by me to Stafflocater and they finally promised me a refund - but of course, it never materialized. Greetings, In response to your refund request, we have reviewed your account and the activity that has occurred to date. As agreed to under the terms of the agreement should any employer hire you as a direct result of any referrals from the website within a period of one(1) year from the date of termination of the agreement, the commission of 2.5% based on the first years salary must be paid to Stafflocater. In compliance with the One Year Membership agreement signed, we are granting a refund and wish you the all the best in your Job Search. Please note a refund will be issued on May 19th 2009. This means that Stafflocater Job Seekers effectively eliminate up to 100% of the competition that they face in jobs found through classified ads and agencies.� Truth: The reverse is true. In fact, 90% of the job postings that you emailed me (in your first email) are currently advertised on the popular, third party, competitive job search boards - which I already use. For example, out of 10 job posting supplied, 3 are Executive Assistants; 3 are Software/IT; 1 is Logistics; 1 is Call Centre - all of which I am clearly not interested in nor qualified for (see Attachment �B� for specific emails referenced). Also, Stafflocater effectively reproduces close to 100% of the competition in jobs found through classified ads and agencies. 2) �The job referral system matches your qualifications, salary, location, years of experience, and education.� Truth: In your first email to me listing jobs matching my qualifications, salary and years of experience; your Warehousing & Logistics posting requires 5 years or more of �strong logistics knowledge�; your IT posting requires �Solid IT knowledge�; your Executive Assistant in the Nuclear industry posting requires �Completion of university�; your Software posting requires ��Solid IT knowledge�; your Call Centre posting requires �Minimum of 3 years in a call centre�. These examples are just a few of the many mismatched and ridiculously misrepresented job postings emailed to me, that additionally, are widely advertised in most of the major job search boards, as indicated in my response email to you. Salaries are not indicated as well by Stafflocater, however, many salaries are displayed and advertised in most of the major job search boards. 3) Your selling brochure states �How does Stafflocater find jobs?� and highlights your �Fast Tracking Benefits� [include] �No third Party Job listing� Full Job Disclosure and Information� Truth: There is no such �Fast Tracking� technology at Stafflocater. In fact, and as noted above, almost every one of your supplied job postings were found on all of the major third party job search engines. Stafflocater does not provide full job disclosure and information, unlike the major third party job search engines. 4) �AccumatchTM - - Always the right fit.� Your brochure states �Stafflocater uses five separate criteria in matching you as the job seeker to positions.� [the criteria being: job category; Salary; Location; Years of Experience; and Education] Truth: Nowhere in your job postings are there any matches to any of these five criteria.
