Scaled Agile University is a farse and a rip off
1
I recently paid several thousand dollars to attend a four day course on Scaled Agile Framework. The course was mediocre at best. Most of the "information" in the course was from other areas of research and development. The course ended with an exam. After taking the exam, I was told I missed some of the questions. When I asked which questions, I was told that Scaled Agile University did not reveal which questions were missed or what the testers score was on the exam. Additionally, I learned during the course that the instructors of the course had never taken the exam yet they were "certified" in SAFe. How can that happen? I was told I needed to take, and pass the exam to become certified in SAFe. I have several degrees from accredited colleges; never once have I been told I could not get feedback on the questions I missed or my score on an exam. Scaled Agile University is a joke; the instructors are a joke and the entire organization is another "scam" based on certification fees and annual renewals. For anyone interested in learning how to scale "Agile" teams, investigate Nexus; it is a much better model and does not carry all of the "certification" expense and baggage of SAFe.
