This is in regards to the very unpleasant experience I had with the Off Broadway shoe Rack at Murfreesboro TN especially with the Store Manager - Cassie Cox. First we bought a pair of Adidas Shoes for our daughter at full price of 49.99 and got the 2nd Sperry topsider for 50% or 14.99. However, when we got home instead of the size 4 1/2 which is in the tag of the shoe as well as the shoe box, we got a size 5. We went back to the store to exchange it but we opted to go for the Nike. The salesperson who gave me the size 5 said that it was an even exchange for 49.99 as what the tag price is showing. When I was checking out, this store manager said that I have to pay an additional 10.97 as the shoes was a bigger size. There was no information or any indication whatsover in that store that the bigger size costs 10.00 more. When I explained it to her that it was her staff who made that mistake for misinformation she rudely told me "well he made a mistake. so either you want the shoes or not? do you want to pay the extra or just return it all?" This is after the salesperson apologize to me for making the mistake. She is downright rude! This store manager has no business being in customer service as she has yelled and ridiculed me in front of her staff as well as other customers. It makes me wonder why she has the audacity to treat and embarrassed me like that because I am a person of color???? She clearly does not fully comprehend the concept of what customer service entails. She should have trained her staff well so as not to misinform the customers. Her lack of tact and leadership shows how she fails to be a store manager or to represent this company at all! I have returned my purchase, $85 may not matter for this company but employees like Cassie Cox is definitely a liability for this company.
