I've been experiencing leaks for 3 years. The leak used to be in only one room, now it is everywhere even in the kitchen. No one has ever come to fix the problem. We ask for help through their ticket system, contacted the supposed landlord, and even called 311 but nothing worked. The leak is so bad that when it is not raining, it is still leaking in our home. When it rains at night, my family members are unable to sleep. We use everything to catch the leaking water and spend the night emptying buckets of brown water. The nice floor we installed has been damaged by water. The sofa is now occupied by buckets and metal boxes to catch water. We have nowhere to sleep or sit because of these buckets catching water. We are desperate to have our lives returned to normal and our nights to be peaceful. We no longer want our lives to be occupied by buckets of rainwater. NYCHA has also recently changed our mailbox without giving us a key. Now we are unable to access our mail. All the important mail are still stuck in the box. Bills to be paid are missing.
