Robert’s Body and Paint Work are thieves

Robert's Body and Paint Work of Fort Wayne, IN performed body work on my vehicle. His original estimate for the total amount of work that needed to be done was $2,000.00 and that it would take about two weeks to finish. I informed him that I could not be without transportion for that long and only wanted to have partial of the work done now and that we could have the rest done at a later date. He agreed and preformed $300.00 worth of service on my vehicle according to his original estimate. I gave him a $1000.00 check that was made out to his auto business that I received from a loan to help pay for my vehicle services. He gave me a receipt that stated the remainder of the money would go towards the repair he did not complete. He then stated that it would be at least another month before he got a chance to finish the rest of the work. Recently the Army has informed me that I will have to deploy overseas soon and I will not be able to use is services again. I informed him of this and he has refused to refund the remainder of the money I had giving him for services not performed. I even suggested he keep $500 and send me the rest. He also refused. The work he performed was very poor and it will have to be redone by another auto shop.
