I asked every time I shopped "are you taking returns?" How was I to know when that was? The pants were in my car two days after purchase after trying them on at home. They were in perfect condition. All tags, sales slip and hanger present. I worked retail until retirement. I know how to treat merchandise. I had management training. You never let a customer leave without resolution. So my resolution is, Albertsons is around the corner. User's recommendation: know store policies. They cannot handle complaints at store level.
