Update by user Sep 17, 2018 See text added today to my original complaint. Bottom line: after some back and forth, I got a full refund. Update by user Sep 17, 2018 After a few emails with customer service with the company giving generic replies about "ship it back, we guarantee satisfaction, etc" (obviously they were not reading my full message about how difficult it would be to box the broken product and return it), I got a survey from them in my email. I let them have it! I very soon had a response to my "dissatisfaction" that they were giving me 20% off a future Brylane order. I responded that that was as good as nothing because I would never want to order from them again after this first experience. The next day I had an email from the customer service dept saying they had issued a full refund to my Paypal account and I did receive that. Original review posted by user Aug 18, 2018 Terrible instructions Pieces mislabeled Difficult to assemble I spent FIVE HOURS trying to assemble a curio cabinet. I have assembled a lot of furniture in my day, so I am no novice. After hours of frustration trying to figure out how to put things, where to put things, figuring out that things were mislabeled, I finally was putting the top part on the bottom part, it didn't line up and crashed down, barely missing my neck and feet. It cracked/split/chipped and broke beyond repair. I can't tell you how mad I am at the waste of time almost more than the waste of money!!!!! It is going straight to the trash because I don't have time to take it apart and get into a box and somehow ship it back. HUGE MISTAKE on my part. Very diasappointed.
