I received my furniture right before Thanksgiving. Really happy with everything. He was a gentleman and recovered my confidence in Star Furniture. Just wish I didn't have to escalate my complaint. The sales person should have taken that extra step to satisfy the customer before the escalation. All in all I'm very happy with the outvcome. Update by user Oct 24, 2020 Was called by the General Manager and told that he has spoken with the manufacturer and they will have my order ready by end of November.I wanted it by Thanksgiving, but this is better than Next year. I will leave this open until I see when it actually arrives. Update by user Oct 21, 2020 This issue has not been resolved and no one has called me with an apology or to try and resolve the issue. They just left me hanging Original review updated by user Oct 21, 2020 Star Furniture is quick to sell everything with the promise of a reasonable delivery date. I purchased two custom recliners and a custom barrel chair on September 12,2020. I was told that it usually takes 4-6 wks, but that because of COVID it would be about 8 wks. When I called for status of furniture, I was told it was scheduled for January!!! If I wanted furniture after the Holidays, I would have ordered furniture after the Holidays! I believe someone didn't place the order after my purchase. Sales person Linda Lindsey refused to call buyer to call manufacturer for a better date. She was no help at all when I needed help, but was quick to make the sale. On purchase date they made me sign a custom furniture document and said that it was to let me know that I couldn't return custom furniture, but then she said on the phone that it said delivery was uncertain. However, they very cleverly failed to give me a copy of the document with my invoice for review. I am completely dissatisfied with this outcome and want someone in management to rectify this situation. I want my furniture no later than Mid November which is a reasonable amount of time! User's recommendation: Don't believe everything you hear.
