Update by user Oct 16, 2020 Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. I was given a full refund when I contacted the Better Business Bureau.. Original review posted by user Sep 16, 2020 Obtained Mark of MK Handyman Services through Home Depot. He quoted me a phone estimate of $150 to remove my mailbox, replace it with a new mailbox, and add 2 boards to my fence gate post. He then arrived in person to check out my mailbox and fence gate. Since I had the fence boards, he decided to do that project while he was down, but rather than just add 2 fence boards as I asked him to do, to cover the spaces by the fence hinges, he decided to add boards to the fence gate doors instead. He did not measure, just started cutting, so all the fence boards came up short, and he charged me $100 for less than 1 hour of work, for which I paid him. I then emailed him that I did not want him to do any more work for me, but he sent me a card in the mail instead thanking me for the work, and that he will be back to do additional jobs for me. I then called him, and told him that he needs to read his emails, as he was fired. Also contacted Home Depot, who referred me to this business, about the problem, but they just made excuses. Now I have to hire another Handyman, and pay him to remove all the boards and fix things right, which I am not happy about. User's recommendation: Get Ratings Before Hiring Contractors.
