Resolved: PayPal and Ann Grauer, AKA Nurturing Doula Dreams.com

1

Update by user Jun 22, 2016 Ann Grauer finally refunded 375.00. She still thought that the 75.00 cancellation fee was credible although it took her a month to refund my money. I'm just happy I got this much. I've learned a valuable lesson. Never purchase a service through friends and family on paypal. Original review posted by user Jun 10, 2016 Ann Grauer, AKA Nurturing Doula Dreams, told my daughter to send money for a workshop that would be in July in Fayetteville, NC through there personal account on paypal. I sent the money (450.00) after they instructed how to send it via friends and family on May 11, 2016. I did not know this was like giving away money. An emergency came up for my daughter and she would not be able to go to the class. She emailed the instructor explaining she could not attend and asking for her money back. Twice in the first week of June. I too have emailed twice the second week in June for a refund. We both have been ignored by Ann Grauer. When I contacted Paypal, they said that was not the way to pay for a service and since I used that method, they did not have a responsibility for the money. I told them they could see the note attached that I was paying for a service. They would not budge. I told them they had a duty to protect the unwary when people were selling services and using their private account.
