Resolved: My Stella Compact Cherry Tree died

4

Update by user Mar 18, 2020 I spoke to a representative from Willis Orchards and after a few emails, including the original email voicing my concerns, and pictures of the dead tree, they offered to replace my tree. They only asked me to cover shipping charges. I feel it was a fair and reasonable request, so I complied. Original review posted by user Mar 17, 2020 I ordered a Stella compact Cherry Tree in 2018. The tree arrived looking okay. I planted it following their instructions. The tree did not thrive and lost its leaves one by one. By then, it was fall and I thought it was just getting ready for winter. The following spring 2019, it sprouted a handful of leaves close to the ground. Again the leaves fell one by one. I thought the little tree was still adjusting. I sent an email and no one answered. I called today, and I was told that they didn't answer emails. That was a shock, as all other retailers I deal with do. So after 1.5 yrs, I am convinced the tree is truly dead. So no refund, no replacement, zilch! I will never buy from them again. Please listen to all these complaints. It's hit or miss with this company! User's recommendation: Do not buy from this company.
