Resolved: I Ready

2

Update by user May 15, 2020 Company fixed issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered Original review posted by user May 15, 2020 For me I Ready seems like a waste of time, some people might not agree and that's fine it's an opinion. I'm a 6th grader doing 8th grade reading, and the fact that they still treat 8th graders like little kids is just... I am expected to do I Ready for like 3 hours a day just makes me sick of it. I'm in 6th grade and doing 8th grade, when I go into a I Ready lesson they teach me about inferences (for example) but this is not new, for me I learned about inferences in 4th grade. To me it's a waste of time when I could be playing outside and having fun, but I'm expected to get home to do home work and do I Ready for at least an hour. That in middle school you have like 20 min for recess is not enough, you are EXPECTED to waste 3 hours a day doing I Ready. I just wish we didn't have to do I Ready when we could be playing outside in nature like God intended it. https://mathexchanges.wordpress.com/2018/06/14/why-iready-is-dangerous/ https://dianeravitch.net/2018/06/18/mathematics-why-the-iready-assessment-is-dangerous/ https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/733515.page (I'm sorry if I offended anyone) User's recommendation: Its ok. But not fun nor that educational.
