Resolved: Brink’s is illegally preventing me from cancelling my service.

Original review posted by user Feb 16, 2021 I can't log into their sight as they say nothing can be validated even though I have a customer # and I am being billed (all caught up). I'm a hold-over from Protect America and never really chose Brink's to be my security provider. When I call in I'm left on hold for a half hour to an hour. In all the times I've tried to call (15 to 30) I've gotten through twice and when I told the rep that I wanted to cancel my service they abruptly disconnected me. I've contacted the Attorney General's Office of my state, and I am waiting for their action(s). I contacted the BBB to no avail and that brings me here to this site reflective of many displeased consumers. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AND AM AT MY WITS END! User's recommendation: If you are unsatisfied with Brink's Home Sec. contact your Attorney General's Office and file a formal complaint. Don't ever do any kind of business with Brink's Corp. again.
