Update by user May 02, 2019 First, My situation has nothing to do with Cartier El. as I wrote in comments. However, Lowe's has replaced my defective (lifetime warranty) tape measure with magnets with a lesser quality tape, no magnets, and with only a 3 month warranty. End of story. David H. Original review posted by user Apr 02, 2019 I tried to get a replacement for a 16' tape, models and warranties changed. Was told contact manufacturer, Google Kobalt and what comes up first? LOWE'S as the provider. So now what?
