If someone is challenged with computer use and lacks administrative skills, they may be of assistance but anyone with a remote understanding of governance and a bit handy with internet research will be very unhappy receiving information that is readily available for free. They have a great publication of Government Grants across Canada but we live in one jurisdiction so a huge waste of info. Once you know that you can get a grant (Provincial Help Lines), they will walk you through a Management Plan as their job is to Give Away Money, to the tune of their budget, you just have to be requesting from a pool that is not in high demand or be early in your application. The civil servants (mostly) will do their utmost to assist those who are polite and in need. Yes I have a bit of hope for Government... Original review posted by user Feb 15, 2019 Unfortunately, I did nearly the same today except they won't take VISA, had to be an ebank transfer. I advised them I had spoken with Provincial folks who informed me no grants exist for my purpose. They assured me I would get a grant, I thought possibly Federal. I got their publication (Canada Wide) with about 35 pages applicable to my Province, and not a sniff of a grant. As far as business plan and grants they put in this valueless publication, this is all available to anyone who can google. They guaranteed me, verbally of course, that my funds would be refunded, should I not get a grant. Spoke with same K and the two or three involved in this, put you on hold to make it look like they are a busy operation. Looked at bldg as addressed on invoice, not exactly a prosperous looking retreat nor situated in an environment one would suspect. Agree with BC, it's a SCAM.. should turn over to RCMP fraud division.
