No response yet from Moen in the USA. However, I am in Canada, and contacted Moen in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Likely should have done this first. The problem has been identified. The part number has been relayed to Moen. Moen is shipping a replacement part. I shall receive an email advising shipment, and the tracking number for the shipment.
