My set of Tropitone furniture is about 15-18 years old, but in relatively good shape. Last summer, several plastic slats/strapping became brittle and broke. I cannot find the needed materials and I can't purchase a new set. Please advise on two items: 1. replacements as mentioned above 2. the table-top has a large piece of glass that seems to be fitted into two metal fixtures which go around the entire table. No one has been able to tell me how to loosen that fitting so that the glass can be cleaned thoroughly around the entire edge.
