So my car overheated across the street from a Maverick. I thought I needed oil so I went to buy some from them despite it being overpriced which I expected. However once I realized my engine was shot and I didn’t need the oil anymore. I went back the next day to the same maverick, which I drove out of my way for, and handed the clerk, who happened to be the same clerk from the night before, my receipt to return the oil. It was 4 quarts and hadn’t even left the bag and the amount was about 30 dollars total. Now that my car was completed ruined I needed my money back desperately. She refused and said that she was unable despite her being a manager. Long story short, I’m never shopping at a maverick again and I will go out of my way to get others from shopping there as well for the rest of my life. I probably spend several hundred dollars there a year so in the end they are the ones loosing money over something that could have been easily resolved. 2495 Main St, North Logan, UT 84341 is the store I was at. The date I purchased the oil was 7/26/2019. It was around 8:30-9:30 pm at night.
