Refusal to honor stated product return policy
1
This complaint concerns the company's refusal to honor their commitment to pay for return shipping of one of their defective laptop batteries. Their game is to cause a customer to pay for shipping a claimed defective battery to Canada instead of WA. This is a large cost to send a 3 lb battery. Then, after doing so, they supposedly check the returned battery and determine that's it's just fine and there must be something wrong with your computer. After much haggling, they ship you a supposed new battery. When, after about a month's use the new battery suddenly fails, and you request an RMA number they issue the number with a note saying they will send a prepaid shipping label. Then, after you submit their completed return form with RMA number they inform you that you have to pay for shipping. Not only are they nefarious, speak broken English but have closely copied a fine battery company's name--Battery Depot. Desired Resolution: All I want from them is to send me a proper RMA number plus a prepaid shipping label then I will send them their defective battery so they can send me a new battery ...all without hassel.
