Refund for steam card

I was getting a birthday gift for my son and thought at the time steam card is what he would like. I come to find out the steam card was no good to him. Now I stuck with 200.00 in steam cards. User's recommendation: When purchasing ensure the steam card is what you want, I purchased steam cards in error and got no response from steam.
