I have faithfully purchased Kaytee bird seed for my now 24 year old cockatiels, but in the last year there has been a noticeable decline in the quality of their product. I am now consistently and continually picking garbage (twigs, seed shells, gravel?) out of the bags of bird seed, and recently have had to strain the seed to remove the large amount of sunflower seeds. I stopped buying their product because of the consistent lack of quality. User's recommendation: Sorry to say, switch to another brand.
