Questionable company practices
1
Update by user Apr 04, 2018 Update as of 4/4/2018 ... I just received an email today telling me that the product I did not order was shipped; the one I tried to cancel 3/29 and 3/30 when I found out I "automatically" ordered a detox product; but ironically that detox product does not appear in any of the PDF's I made nor the emails I received from the company. Original review posted by user Apr 04, 2018 The company reflected above is on the label of the supplement bottle I received. Beware of this company. On 2/19/2018 I was investigating CLA as a supplement to my regimen. To make a long story short, I read up on the supplement and then purchased it. What I got was not what I expected; correct label but white versus a brown bottle which was advertised. I have a habit of taking screenshots when I purchase something and glad I did because when the product was received I did not get the special promotion rebate (see attached) and was charged the full amount; not what my receipt which I PDF'd reflected. Since I had not done business with this company I captured the transaction as a PDF file. Most companies will also send an email receipt with the total cost but this one did not and just confirmed the order. Fast forward to 3/29/2018. Unknown to me they also enrolled me for another product which was not indicated on the PDF'd copy of my order. If it had I would have cancelled the complete order immediately. On 3/29/2018, I was notified of a charge to my credit card and was dumbfounded. I found an email in spam telling me I had ordered a detox product when I placed my CLA order. I immediately emailed and called to cancel. Although the product was not shipped yet and wanting to sever ties with this company, I ultimately settled the dispute. A product I haven't received yet and I won't use is costing me $17.46. I suspect they have cancelled it and was just trying to charge me for something. In my opinion these are deceptive practices that need to be reported.
