No 11. Describe Your Vehicle: Vehicle Make Jeep Comanche Pick-Up Truck Vehicle Year 1987 Miles driven before problem 109779 12. Describe Problem / Complaint: Damaged my engine on my truck by using ALREADY Used MOTOR OIL. Once on 11/11/08 when the oil pan was replaced. When the truck was first worked on at Quality Auto & Truck Repair at 3922-75th St. Kenosha WI 53142 The truck had 109,779 miles on it. I also needed the tire rims ground and polished because of air leakage. When the tires were still leaking, I was told it was not the rims but bad tire air valves. I was told I shouldn't be diagnosing my own problems and was charged an extra 50.00 to replace them. He first wanted 75.00.He knew they were bad and leaking but wanted the extra labor money to replace the leaking air valves the next day.Soon after the new oil pan and oil was replaced on the 11th, I started hearing a knocking sound. On 04/09/09 I took the truck to their new garage at 6345-30th Ave in Kenosha,WI to have the differential fluid replaced. I also asked that they change the oil again. Only this time with 10W40 motor oil. I thought a thicker oil would quite the knocking sound. I watched the mechanic (Jay) put 4 qts. of Car Quest oil from blue qt. oil jugs and the 5th qt. from a black qt jug that was labeled on the side of it (synthetic motor oil). When I asked him about it he said he was just putting in plain 10W40 motor oil and I left it at that. The truck then had a mileage of 110,047 miles on it. Do the mileage math. 268 miles between oil changes. In May. The truck really started making a very loud knocking sound as if it was ready to blow up. So on May 24th. With the mileage being 110,203. And after only 155 miles of driving and just one month after the 2nd oil change on the 9th, I decided to drain the oil. It came out as black as coal tar, very thin as if like water. Not thick like 10W40 motor oil should be. And it smelled very burnt. I took pictures of myself draining the oil from this same truck and had the film developed that night just to prove that this black, burnt and thin oil was drained from my truck. I believe they re-used already used motor oil and passed it off as as new oil. Not only once but most likely on Nov.11th also. When I first started hearing that knocking sound. I believe they severely damaged my engine by doing this. I have always maintained my engine over the years by making sure to flush and then have the oil changed every 2 to 3,000 miles. And I can prove it. I saved the oil and I am going to have the oil analyzed in hopes to have Quality Auto and Truck Repair at 6345-30th Ave in Kenosha WI. 53142 investigated. The owners name is Lioyd Bellaire and the name of his business is Quality Auto & Truck Repair. Fair Warning. Stay clear of the place.
