Be warned-- My insurance company hired PT&C LWG forensic consulting services to do an engineering report on the Damage Done to a structure on my property. PT&C LWG was coming from another state, and would have 6 hours of drive time coming to my property. This is after the fact I had already turned in estimates from local licensed contractors (that they asked me to get) and then impact study done by a local licensed civil engineer. All of these local companies, for the most part, agreed that there was Damage Done to the structure on my property. Each had their own opinion, but their conclusions, for the most part are the same. The local licensed professionals that I called, showed up to my house and used the "industry standard" tools to do the job properly, like a laser / transit / string lines. However, PT&C LWG showed up in a minivan with a $50.00, 2 foot, Husky level, (most likely bought from Home Depot, and it's the cheapest brand there) did a 30 minute evaluation and told me that the impacted corner of my structure that was almost 3 inches out of level was probably built that way, then immediately reported back to my insurance company that there was nothing more than some minor cosmetic damage done.
