I just want the world to know how bad this company is. We built a new home and decided that we wanted to install a geo-thermal heating and cooling system with the intention of cost savings over the life of the home. We asked them to design a system to be the "most efficient" possible. They advertise themselves as "experts" in Geo-thermal heating systems. They showed us what they designed for us and we said ok. Our bills have been so huge for heating and cooling that we can barely keep up with the fuel usage. After many, many service visits to have them examine they system they installed with no reduction in fuel usage, we asked for another contractor to look at the system and to evaluate if it was the correct system for our home. We were told that it is completely backwards and inappropriate for our size of house. We even went back to Pro-Tech and asked them to come up with a plan to fix our system...We have yet to hear from them after almost an entire year. We are now having the second contractor remedy the problems with our system...to the tune of about $20,000! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LET PRO-TECH MECHANICAL TOUCH ANY HEATING & OR COOLING SYSTEM, OR PLUMBING REPAIR IN YOUR HOME YOU WILL NOT GET ANYTHING BUT HUGE BILLS AND THE OWNER RICK WILL TALK IN CIRCLES TO TRY TO CONFUSE YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE TO THROW UP YOUR HANDS IN DISGUST!
