Products not delivered on time

I ordered an electric PHILIPS Wet or Dry Electric Shaver, Product Code: PHSHVS122345WS (Price LKR 8, 190.00) on 25thAugust via online platform and the same day I received a message stating that the package is in transit and I will be contacted shortly to notify the details. Since then there was no information in this regard and hence I called three time (1st, 3rd and 5th September, 2021). The person answered the phone promised to get back to me with information on delivery, but I didn't hear from them so far. On 5th I expressed willingness to collect it from the showroom. I also e mailed twice 28 August and 2 September with no reply. This is the level of customer service of Abans and I am sorry to say that it has come to such a low level. I ordered this to give as a present and If I will not be receiving it in the next couple of days, I have no use for it. Please let me know whether I can cancel my order if you are unable to deliver this. I am aware of the situation in the country but then you should have mentioned in your website that delivery will be delayed more than a week. Then the customer can make a decision. I bought a number of things from Abans including a laptop ordered through the website and this was the first time such a delay occurred. I think at least the customer should receive an answer upon inquiry. Thanking you in advance for prompt action.
