Dear sir/ma, i am an employee of ritz carlton bahrain hotel and spa, where many things are not expected off.i joined this company a long time ago and am not sorry to say that i regret coming here because my future seems to have been jeopardize.There are so many things happening which i will list them out, one after the other. (1) Racism exist in the hotel not from only ladies and gent but also from guidance team.(2)Department benefit are not given,like overtime are not given in housekeeping and even if they wants to give they place you under short period of time with lot of assigned work to do with only 300 fills per hour,claiming that housekeeping is unproductive and less important in the hotel.The director once said the door of resignation is open to everybody that cannot abide with the hard condition she is giving.Housekeeping receives the least salary with hard labour and off days are not given properly,many attimes you work ten days without a day off.(3)We have service values which i believe that can give ones live a better position in live by cross-trainnning to other department but they never make it work because they dont belive in it and they call it 'drama',this i mean the people in power and expecially housekeeping department.Housekeeping is the major part,i will urge you to look into because it seems to be a very bad department goven by bad people and all the guidance teams knows about this and never do anything.(4)Politics;this is much in this industry at this point,this is heavy.This is a case where people in power takes up their people of the same colour or tribe for position.secondly,the HR department needs to be dissolve because there is no confidentiallity and the people never cares about you ,its seems to me that they have been bought by Guidance team.The people want are not theirs.(5)Engagement survey;this is where i see corrupt practices made by manager and directors all in the name of educating individuals on engagement survey they force people on the number they have to have click.this i dont think is proper,they run after gallup and forget about individuals.(6)Health;the clinic that is provided for an emergency, only has pain releiving tablet,the nurse doesnt seems to have any clue about health.some people go on sickleave without doctors report wwhile some people get sick and are force to work because he has no doctors report.this is can kill workers.(7)Accomodation; the building call awal has been existing for more than 20 years and the furnitures are so old that bed bugs yield in it....Lastly, i will likeyou to prove your self in the whole matter and revive RITZ CARLTON BRAND AND NAME.The housekeeping pains me a lot because they have been oppresed to the point that they cannot express themselve or share opinion.They work so hard and earn penny,they work with sorrows in their heart.HELP HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT.The supervisors now oppress the workers with their position and threaten to sack them if they dont do their will,even if you are right,they dont care.PLEASE DO SOMETHING VERY FAST TO SAFE THE WORKERS IN HOUSEKEEPING.
