Price match guarantee not being honored

I found a price for my room in Cabo San Luca that is lower than what is being offered on Hotels.com. For over a month I have been getting the run around from customer service, with each person telling me one lie about how to resubmit the claim and the next person saying something different. Finally I was directed to send an email to their tech support team and give them 10 business days to respond. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks. I strongly believe that the plan has been to wait out the lower price, until it increased.
